Walk outside in the sunshine, shining
Don't mind that it's hot
I'm taking a ride
Gonna go to the pool
And catch some of those rays
It's just one of those hot summer days
So happy to relax,
So anxious to get back.
A break is nice, but busy is too.
I can't wait for school
Until it gets here, that is.
It gets old pretty fast...
Won't be long
'Til the whole year's passed.
It feels so long until it's gone
One year older,
I still feel young.
Sun goes down, fireflies come out.
Movies with friends,
Coffee and ice cream.
Shopping for clothes
During all the sales.
Temperature from 95 to 102
Cool water, hot sun beating down
Summer Snow and watermelon
BBQ and sloppy joes
You know how it goes.
Beach trips, water skiing,
Intertubing, water parks.
Life is good in Summertime :)

Commercials
We need more people in the advertising industry that know how to present their product/service in an efficient way AND be entertaining.
Some commercials are dreadfully boring, but clear.
Others are hilarious, but make it hard to see what the ad is for until the end...
And then there are things that are more annoying than boring. Like this:
And lastly, there are wildly inappropriate commercials such as this one:
We need more commercials like these!!!

Dumb.
So I was on my way home, walking from the 59th & Lex subway station, and this girl walking in front of me is on the phone. After about 30 seconds of walking, I notice she starts to turn around and look back at me sporadically. She then speeds up her walking pace, which I didn't mind because I'd been trying to get around her anyway, so I just fell back in behind her since she sped up. Then she like...goes to the other side of the sidewalk against traffic of people walking the other way. She continues to look back at me, and breaks into a sprint for about 10 or 15 seconds just to get far enough in front of me so I couldn't hear her phone conversation (which, btw, not only was I not paying attention to, but sounded like a conversation that Karen from Mean Girls would have).
That is ridiculous. Girl, you on the street, get over yourself and go inside if you need to have a private conversation. Good lord.
